Patrick is a software developer with many years of experience.
Patrick's original intended trajectory was to become a computational plasma researcher with a flotilla of GPUs powering his work. But after mulling over the shortage of simulation work available for non-PhD students and the heavy emphasis on CAD design over code in Mechanical Engineering, he decided to make the switch over to software. He earned his BS in Physics and MS in Mechanical Engineering at UC Los Angeles.
His main programming interests are functional programming, learning different ways people tackle concurrency problems in software, and WebGL. When he's not working, he's busy writing or drawing.
