Isiah Fletcher
Isiah’s interest in computers started with the simple joy of modding video games, although his professional roots began elsewhere. He received a BA in creative writing from the University of Idaho and soon after discovered the ilk of old school “programmer poets”. A firm believer in the principle of “how you do one thing is how you do everything”, Isiah migrated his knowledge of myriad odd jobs in restaurants, construction, and freelance writing to web development in 2020.
Isiah focuses primarily on front-end development but infrequently pivots to the backend to build out APIs. His current interests lie in peeling back the layers of abstraction in web development and returning to simpler roots, investing time in building progressive web apps without the fuss of the next hottest framework or tooling suite.
When not behind a computer, Isiah resumes his parallel passion for playing music. He plays drums in three Boise-based bands, posts YouTube videos, and writes lyrics for his main band, Aterrima. Since most of those lyrics happen to be about nature, he makes it outdoors to explore as much as he can for inspiration.
