Ilene Gorski has a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University. She spent years of her life playing music and teaching small children, during which she realized she would rather not. Her love of puzzles, logic, and bright colors ultimately led her to the world of code, in which she was self-taught for several years before attending Epicodus, a development boot camp.

Ilene loves to build websites, make people laugh, and write music. She currently plays oboe and English horn with the Eastside Symphony and subs for the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra. Recently she started running because gym memberships are expensive and parks are pretty. She also enjoys sudoku, science fiction, and writing (but not sharing) poetry.

Ilene lives in Bellevue with her sister and cat.
