Washington DC based Virtual Biosecurity Center (VBC) is a global effort lead by the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) committed to countering the threat posed by the development or use of biological weapons. Foundry is proud to have partnered with our friends at the VBC to help build this ‘one stop shop’ for biosecurity information, education, best practices, and collaboration.
There has been an incredible amount of anticipation from biorisk communities for over two years, and our work doesn’t end here. The Global Forum on Biorisks (currently in beta) will launch soon creating a place for biorisk and related professionals to discuss opportunities and very real threats created by scientific advances in biology. It is an honor to develop a site on such an important subject matter with truly global impact.
